White Sangria

As is the case with so many Spanish specialties, there is no fixed sangria recipe. Some folks swear by red wine sangria. Some folks are anti white wine sangria. Whatever your preference is, success of mixture will depend on the quality of the ingredients. Thus its crucial to always use good wine, fresh fruits and juices and most importantly to chill and enjoy!
Sangr?a must always be served ice-cold. If serving from a punch bowl, stir it in the bowl before ladling it into a glass. Finally, if possible, drink it out door - there is no finer feeling.

Ingredients
??Apple juice, for ice cubes
??3 1/4 cups (26 fl. oz) dry white wine
??2 medium peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced or use canned peach
??2 medium oranges, sliced crosswise
??2 small lemons, sliced crosswise
??3 cups (24 fl. oz) sprite or 7Up
??Mint leaves, to garnish (optional)

Preparation
To make the apple juice ice cubes, pour the apple juice into two ice trays and freeze until the sangr?a is ready to serve.
Add the wine, peaches, orange and lemon slices to the serving bowl. Mix well, and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, mix in the sprite and the apple juice ice cubes.

Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
